Fill a box to capacity to avoid shifting of contents and possibly breaking the sides of cardboard boxes.
Don't forget to have a heavy duty permanent marker or label maker handy to label the contents of your boxes.
The more information on the outside of a box the better to you help you remember what's inside.
Be sure to clearly indicate "FRAGILE" on the sides of boxes holding breakables as a reminder to be extra careful with these boxes.
Remember to wrap glass items and breakables in bubble wrap or crumpled paper to keep them from breaking while moving.
