Start by gathering as many boxes as you think you will need as well as tape, markers, and packing material (e.g., foam shipping noodles, bubble wrap, packing paper or towels).
Make up an inventory list of your items and keep it in a safe place (at home or in a safe deposit box) away from the unit.
Be sure your boxes are strong enough to hold 25-30 pounds (although we suggest not putting too much in each box).
Dishes and glasses should be wrapped in paper and packed in sturdy boxes.
Stack them on top.

Moths can lay eggs in the woolen carpet fibers when they are in use in the home.
When someone brings these carpets into storage they bring the eggs with them.
Later the eggs hatch and new moths are born which appear in the hallways of the storage building seeking locations to lay their eggs.

Pursuant to your rental/occupancy agreement you are responsible for all rent and charges that may accrue until you vacate.
We suggest you coordinate your dates with the manager to avoid any surprises.

If you have any questions, please see the section regarding Abandonment in the rental agreement.
